1. Ryanair- you make flying so affordable I could cry, I don't even care if I have to fit for my seat and pay to piss. I flew from Barcelona to London for 20 Euro, try and beat that. (If you're in Eastern Europe, try Wizzair)
2. Orangeways- If you feel like really taking the scenic route orangeway buses are the way to go. Amazingly cheap, free coffee, and free movies (albeit, really shitty movies). They go all over Europe, and if you want to check a bag it will only cost a couple bucks.
3. Couchsurfing- Bringing people together....FOR FREE!! Love it, especially if you are traveling alone.
4. Tesco- Your pre-made sandwiches are cheap and filling. Lunch for 3 Euro, don't mind if I do.
And finally...
5. Eurorail...you are absolutely full of hidden fees (an extra 20 Euro because the ride is scenic, I call shenanigans!) But you still save backpackers a ton of money and you make Amtrak look like shit.
